Team Orion Freezin for a Reason at Polar Plunge 2015!

dsc_0143Team Orion took the plunge!! In order to support Georgia Special Olympics, Orion team members braved the cold waters on Lake Lanier this past Saturday.

The mission of Special Olympics Georgia is to provide year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for all children and adults with intellectual disabilities, giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy, and participate in the sharing of gifts, skills and friendship with their families, other Special Olympics athletes and the community. This years event raised over $120,000, which is going to support more than 26,700 Georgia Special Olympic Athletes.

A huge thank from us to ALL who helped sponsor and fundraise for Team Orion!
